On February 16, 2007, the pacific island communities residing in the Wellington region (New Zealand) presented the first 'Pasifika Festival', at Frank Kitts park. Cultural shows from The Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Tokelau and Niue were showcased.
